Another Reason to Dump Trump

There's no need here to list the myriad reasons not to back Donald Trump as a presidential nominee. Others are taking care of that--he's a racist, blowhard, liar, male supremist, etc., etc., etc. However, in a list of little-known facts about The Donald, one characteristic appeared that the geezer had not heard of.

Trump claims he has never had a drink of an alcoholic beverage in any form.

This to some is a damning indictment, one which perhaps helped sink Mitt Romney in his unsuccessful 2012 campaign.

Maybe he's on something stronger?

May be he is so high naturally that he does not need alcohol to stimulate him!

Whatever stimulates him, I wish he would get off it.

Yikes, I hate to think what he'd be like if he were drinking!

He can claim nything he wants, but my friend Kathy spotted him in a restaurant having a veery public fight with his former wife. The argument grew so heated she took off her wedding ring and threw it at him. He's a very bad man.

We voted this AM in our very Blue precinct (largest percentage of Democrat voters in the nation). I have voted for Republicans and Democrats, and belong to neither party, however this year we went with Hillary although I could have voted for Kasich.

Someone had placed Trump signs outside the voting area, but none of the Republicans we have seen in previous years were outside handing out leaflets. There were plenty of Democrat workers soliciting help, however.

Dianne . . . We voted early in the Michigan primary, which is about a week away. For sure it wasn't for Trump. I thought Kasich made the most sense in the Republican debates I watched. Here, we must choose one party or the other in primaries. I've gone both ways in the past. This time, went with the Democratic ballot. I never reveal who I vote for.

Perhaps in a similar comparison to Bill Clinton and his marijuana virginity, Donald has probably used it as a mouth wash and disinfectant... just never swallowed it!

In my humble view, I think there's method to his madness, so he'll say anything to attract select groups of voters cause he's after the primary election numbers i.e. he's probably after the WTCUs, Mormons and Muslims, just as he word-waffled around on the KKK/Duke thing to pull in white supremacists, other racists. If he gets the nomination, or doesn't and starts another party, we'll see him do an abrupt shift for the 1:1 campaign.

Joared. . . I agree The Donald will use a whole new strategy if he makes it to the general election campaign. Some folks think he now is merely tossing off ridiculous comments because he is unable to do otherwise, and would continue along that part. I doubt that. He certainly is obnoxious, but he is not dumb. He'll make a major shift in tactics depending on which way the political winds are blowing.

Oops. Meant to say "along that path."

Just like religion, one has to blindly believe in the Donald, because his policies (what policies) lack any sound reasoning. He has about as much chance of getting any of the bigoted policies done, as Obama has, getting something approved through this Republican congress. The only reason I would want him to win, is so I can watch the Republican party crumble as it comes apart at the seams.

I would say there is a strong indication that the Republican party is about to implode, when in recent debates on National TV they begin insulting each other over the size of their penis.

Thought about you yesterday, although it seems NAFTA upset a few people. Too bad, I like it..NAFTA that is.

Dick Klade said...

I also think NAFTA was a positive. However, it looks like both Sanders and Trump have latched onto positions opposed to all trade agreements and that is getting them lots of voter support.

I've started watching the Daily Show with Trevor Noah who replaced Jon Stewart. I have to get used to a new person doing political satire. Actually, it just scares me even more to think so many Americans want that crazy person to be president. Worse, Trump even won in Hawaii. What the heck!
