A Blogday Anniversary

Today is the eighth anniversary of this blog. No national, or local, celebrations were held.

Some fairly accurate calculations indicate more than 400 little stories have been posted since July 11, 2006. Some of them have been read. Some very nice people have been met in cyberspace. Those are good enough reasons to continue.

Well curiosity killed the cat but knowing it was your 'blogaversary' I got curious as to when the first time I ever visited your blog was and found it was on Oct.22, 2009 where I first commented on a post titled "True Green". Have enjoyed your blog and our friendship ever since...

Happy Blogday Anniversary!!

Time sure flies, Alan. If memory serves, shortly after our first encounter you mailed me a Green Bay Packers matchbook that was given to you by a friend and coworker. I still have it among my little treasures. My son and I are making a pilgrimage to Lambeau Field in two weeks. Maybe I can tell the "matchbook story" to some of the faithful there.

Thanks, John. Any way you read that comment, it is something I can try without hope of long-time success.

The road to HE double toothpicks and all that...paved with good intentions. I thought I left a comment.

Anyway, excuses aside, happy Bogoversary. And keep on keeping on.
