Forward is the only way to go. I've already noted on my calendar that the next total solar eclipse in 2024 falls on my birhtday. I'm assuming I'll probably still be around and might want to make plans to see it in Dallas. I'm 74 now.

I am quite sure you and Sandy will be quite perky and observing during the 2024 eclipse. I on the other hand am fairly positive I won't be. But I do have to say that having said that, the damn path of the eclipse is suppose to bring it right over Little Rock that year. Well, at least I won't have to shell out three bucks for a pair of glasses...
Absolutely -- plan as though your life is going on forever! Why not? Then if it doesn't work out you won't care anyway.
