For every granny who doesn't like him, apparently there are a few who do. He will probably retain that Senate seat although the mainstream Republican Party broke with him immediately, Scott Brown being the first to point out Akin's comments were basically stupid. I like Chris Christie's comments best, however.
The New York Times and the Washington Post have both run articles this past week on the definition of Rape. There are apparently many kinds of rape from a legal perspective.

For those who haven't seen the statement, New Jersey Governor Christie said Akin's comments were "absolutely assinine" and "reprehensible."
Makes one wonder why any granny would vote for Akin, but no doubt some will.
Funny video! I think his view is more prevalent than many openly admit -- pretty scary thought.
Gives a whole new meaning to "grab a granny night" at the local dance hall.
